Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Taleframe (“Taleframe,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Taleframe app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account & identifiers. Taleframe does not require you to create an account with a name, email, or password. When you first open the app, we assign a random, anonymous installation identifier so we can associate your subscription with your device.
- Content you create. The story ideas, prompts, characters, and settings you enter are sent to our servers and to our AI providers to generate your story videos.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and credits are processed by Apple and managed through our payments partner (RevenueCat). We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive or store your card or payment details.
- Usage & diagnostics. We collect limited, privacy-preserving analytics (e.g., page views, feature usage, device type, crash logs) to operate and improve the Service.
How we use information
- To generate the story videos you request and deliver them to you.
- To verify your subscription and enforce usage allowances.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To respond to your support requests.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to run the Service. Your prompts and generated content are processed by AI providers to create your videos. These include, among others:
- Apple — app distribution and payments.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Anthropic and fal.ai — AI generation of story text, images, video, narration, and music.
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your created content and account data for as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by law. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Taleframe is intended for creators and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
