Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Taleframe app and website (the “Service”), operated by Taleframe (“we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or commercial content-creation purposes, subject to these Terms.
Subscriptions & billing
- Taleframe is offered on a subscription basis (weekly, monthly, or annual) with an included allowance of story videos, plus optional credit packs.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Except where required by law or Apple’s policies, payments and consumed credits are non-refundable.
Your content & AI-generated output
- You retain ownership of the ideas and inputs you provide. You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use the videos you create.
- You grant us a limited license to process your inputs and generated content solely to operate and provide the Service.
- AI-generated output is provided “as is.” It may contain inaccuracies, and similar output may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, harassing, or that violates the rights of others or the policies of the platforms where you publish.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Taleframe and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taleframe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Taleframe is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
